Not sure if this is where I need to enter this but, My company, a Telecommunication company has 1000+ pieces of equipment that we can only backup utilizing a DOS 16 bit program. With computer changes they have decided to go to windows 10 64 bit in 2017 and I am looking for a way to still communicate with the equipment. I have tested windows 10 64 on a new laptop using a USB- Serial adapter. I installed a dos emulator and then install the dos program for backups.

What are these links? Does each one connect to a new bluetooth device or are they just phatom ones using up ports? I have six standard serial over bluetooth links using up COMS 10, 11, 3, 4, 6, 9 I only have 2 bluetooth devices. One is a sport headphone which I sometimes use with my laptop and the other is a mini mobile speaker. Therefore should there only be 2 ports used for this? Thanks Noreen I did go in and delete (uninstall) all audio drivers for bluetooth device except for the Windows and Intel ones.

Even though it shows that I only have one new Bluetooth device I ’m confused why it shows 2; one headset and one stereo.

Is that normal? I can hear the music through my headset, but I can ’t pause it using the buttons on my headset. So no controls from headset. What is strange is I can hear it through my headset no matter what playback device I choose from my speaker playback device list. When I power off my headset the sound window goes back to Speakers High Definition Audio device which is my notebooks system speakers.

However, when I try to play music I can ’t hear it. When I go into Sound and click on configure I test the speakers and I can hear the sounds then. This is all so crazy because now I powered up my headphones again and have tried all 3 (1More headset, 1 More headphones and high definition audio device and I can ’t hear the music from my iTunes at all. The only one that I can configure is Speakers High Definition Audio Device (even though it tests ok, but I can ’t hear my music). The other 1More devices show configure grayed out.
